I went for another routine prenatal checkup today. I'm 23 weeks along, and the baby is doing great! Heartrate was good and she's moving around all the time. Doctor said she was growing well, and it looks like she'll be comparable in weight to Carter (who was 9 lbs, 12 oz!). Wow, something to look forward to! No, he wasn't bad at all, and my labor with him was suprisingly easy for as big as he was.
I also got the results from my AFP test (prescreener for genetic disorders). Everything was negative -- 1 in 3000 chance for trisomy 18 and 1 in 10,000 chance for down's syndrome. So the doctor is very confident that baby is super healthy with no genetic abnormalities!
I go back in four weeks for my glucose screening and an ultrasound to check on the blood vessels in the umbilical cord. Everything will be fine either way, but it will be fun to see how much she's grown! I'm just so thankful that everything is going well, and feel so blessed to be having another healthy baby!

Baby Names
Who ever thought naming a baby is such hard work?!? I found this out with Carter, and I thought a girl would be much easier to name (seeing as how we came up with an entire list of girl names but only a few boy names for Carter). But, alas... our list of girl names grows short this time. Trying to come up with a name both Matt and I like while realizing our child will be "stuck" with this name for the rest of her life is a very difficult task!! I've got my favorites, he's got his, and there are a couple on which we both agree. But I'm tired of searching and trying to be creative, so I'm turning this over to everyone else's creative minds for a while. Respond to this blog with some of your favorite girl names (mind you... it has to go with the last name of Wolf!). I'm not promising we'll use any of them, but it'd be so nice to get some suggestions. Give us first, middle, or both... Let the naming begin!!
